Buying a gun online is simple and absolutely legal. Just follow these two simple steps:

Step one: Find your perfect match

Shop our collection for the perfect firearm(s). Need help? Give us a call or shoot us an email! We want to help guide you to finding your ideal firearm.

*While it is legal to purchase firearms online, the firearm must correspond with your federal, state, and local laws. Please be sure to check your state’s laws before purchasing.*

Step two: Choose an FFL

Add your firearm to your cart and proceed to checkout. When purchasing a firearm(s) online, your firearm(s) will not ship directly to you. Instead, it will ship to your chosen FFL. An FFL, or Federal Firearms Licensee, is a place that is legally licensed to sell firearms. This could be a local gun store, pawn shop, or franchise. You can find an FFL by clicking the “FFL Search” key next to the title “FFL Information” during checkout. Input your zip code at the top of the screen to find the FFL closest to you. After choosing an FFL, the information will autofill.

Be aware that not all FFLs charge the same rate for a transfer. You may want to call the company beforehand for pricing. The typical price is between $15- $30. Once you’ve chosen an FFL, move onto the payment method and submit your order. You’re all set!

Once your order is submitted, Alexander’s Armory will begin to process your order. Items will typically ship within 3-10 business days.

Once the product arrives at your chosen FFL, the dealer will contact you. Please be advised that your local, state, and federal laws will dictate when you can take the firearm(s) home. In some instances, if the customer has a Concealed Carry Permit or similar license, the customer may take the firearm(s) home after the transfer is complete. In other cases, the customer may have to wait an additional 3 days for what is popularly known as the “Cooling off Period”.

BE SURE TO INSPECT YOUR FIREARM(S) BEFORE ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER! You are entitled to decline the transfer if the firearm(s) is defective or blemished. The dealer will return the firearm(s) back to Alexander’s Armory. Our staff will then inspect the firearm(s) and decide if the firearm(s) was defective or blemished in any way. We will then contact you to discuss how to move forward. If we find that the firearm(s) was blemished or defective, you WILL NOT be charged the 20% restocking fee.

If the customer decides to accept the transfer, the sale is final. The dealer will then handle the background check and the necessary paperwork associated with the transfer.

What is the “Cooling off Period?”
The “Cooling off Period” is a mandatory 3 day wait period before the customer is allowed to take the firearm(s) home. In most cases, this may be bypassed if the customer has a Concealed Carry Permit.

Items will typically ship within 3-10 business days.

Your chosen FFL will conduct the background check.

Send us an email with the FFL’s information, such as the name of the business and the phone number. We will take care of the rest. You will not be able to submit the order until we verify your FFL, but rest assured, we will handle it as quickly as possible.

All sales are final once accepted. In the event that the customer accepts the transfer and then decides they want to send the firearm for repair, the customer must send the firearm to the manufacturer. Once the firearm is transferred, all repairs should be handled by the manufacturer.
